We have awarded nearly $10 million to leading public high school and college educators who have built many of Massachusetts’ pioneering Early Colleges.
More than 100 legislators from across the Commonwealth attended a jam-packed Early College briefing at the State House this week to learn more about these programs.
In a remarkably close alignment of secondary and post-secondary education, Commissioners Jeff Riley and Carlos Santiago described how Early College is central to both of their strategies for helping students graduate truly college and career ready.
Students spoke about their experiences. The common theme was how confident and prepared they felt for college.
