Jewish Community
Over the past 50 years, our family and our foundation are proud to have given more than $48 million to Jewish causes.
To honor our family’s Jewish heritage, we invest in organizations that sustain and better the lives of Jews in Boston and in Israel.
The majority of these funds have been devoted to Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) and Facing History and Ourselves.
Today, we direct almost all of our Jewish community-related giving through CJP as Boston’s lead Jewish philanthropic entity.
Recent gifts to CJP have included support for its Coronavirus Emergency Fund, Anti-Poverty Initiative, measures to counteract a rise in antisemitism, and programs that connect Boston-area college students to Israel and help strengthen Jewish identity.
Grants in this area are by invitation only.
