Jewish Giving
To honor our family’s Jewish heritage, we invest in organizations that build a secure and thriving Jewish community and help Jews in need in Boston and Israel.
The majority of these funds have been devoted to Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) and Facing History and Ourselves.
Today, we direct almost all of our Jewish community-related giving through CJP as Boston’s lead Jewish philanthropic entity.
Focused support through CJP includes funding to address basic needs for Boston’s Jewish community, ensure the communal security of local Jewish organizations, combat antisemitism, and strengthen connections to Israel among Boston-area college students.
We also respond to emergencies through CJP pooled relief funds such as the Coronavirus Emergency Fund, assistance to the Ukrainian Jewish community and for Afghan refugees, and the Israel Emergency Fund.
Grants in this area are by invitation only.
